One county, a lot of different moves
Lincolnshire is big and mostly rural — a cathedral city, a string of market towns, villages down single-track lanes, farmland in every direction and a coast at the end of it. A move here is rarely the same twice.
That’s the whole point of a county-wide team that actually works the county. We plan for the real distances and the real access — a terrace under Lincoln Cathedral and a farmhouse off a fen lane are different jobs, and we treat them that way.

Lincoln city moves
The terraces below the hill, the flats up towards the cathedral and Steep Hill, the student places and the new-builds on the edges. City access, tight parking and cobbles where it counts — we know the uphill from the downhill.

Market-town moves
Grantham, Stamford, Sleaford, Louth, Spalding, Bourne — the moves that make up much of the county. Georgian townhouses, terraces off the market place, and the newer estates around the edges.

Farmhouse & village access
Long farm tracks, barn conversions, and cottages down single-track lanes. We check the approach before the day — where the lorry can turn, where it has to be a smaller van and a shuttle.

The Fens & the Wolds
Dead-straight fen roads and the rolling lanes of the Wolds are two different jobs. Both mean distance between doors, which we plan and price honestly rather than pretending everything is round the corner.

Out to the coast
Skegness, Mablethorpe and the coastal strip — bungalows, seaside flats and the seasonal comings and goings. A proper run east from the city or the towns, planned around the A158 and A52.

The A1, A46, A15, A16 and A17 tie the county together, and a Lincolnshire move often covers real ground. We know where they flow and where they don’t, so a long inter-town run doesn’t become a lost day.

Moved us from a terrace under the cathedral in Lincoln out to a village near Louth. They knew the hill and the parking without being told, and took the long lane at the other end in their stride. Steady, no fuss.
A barn conversion down a single-track lane in the Wolds — I was sure the lorry wouldn’t get near. They’d checked it beforehand, brought a smaller van for the last bit, and shuttled everything up. Proper planning, that.
Student move for our daughter — a room’s worth from halls in Lincoln into storage for the summer, then back out in September. Cheap, easy and they didn’t make a drama of a small job.
We cleared and moved the contents of the family farm near Spalding — a lifetime of it, plus a fair bit of yard and workshop kit. They were patient, careful with the old furniture, and shifted the heavy gear without a grumble.

Do you really cover the whole of Lincolnshire?
Yes — the whole county. Lincoln and the market towns (Boston, Grantham, Stamford, Sleaford, Spalding, Bourne, Louth), the coast at Skegness and Mablethorpe, Gainsborough in the north-west, and the villages and farms in between. Wherever you are in Lincolnshire, the answer is almost certainly yes.
Can you reach a farmhouse or a house down a single-track lane?
That’s much of our work. We check the approach before the day — where a full-size lorry can get to and turn, and where it needs to be a smaller van shuttling to the door. Long farm tracks and Wold lanes are normal for us, not a surprise.
Do you do small man-and-van jobs and student moves?
Yes. A single item across Lincoln, a student’s room in or out of halls, a small flat — we scope the job to what you’ve actually got rather than pushing you towards a bigger van than you need.
